The roof naturally falls to the southwest and was first prepared with a cement slurry to smooth out the bumps.

It was then sealed with bitumen ready to take the adhesive for the membrane
A one-piece rubber membrane is glued to the roof providing an absolutely watertight finish
Rooflights fitted in place of the original inspection hatches add a surprising amount of additional natural light to the interior.
Trim, guttering and downpipe finish the south western end of the unit.
