Once we allowed for grading the earth back away from the water main this didn’t leave much room along the front, so time for a re-think and revised planning application.

We’ve changed the entrance position, and returned the earth levels to the pre-excavation point and levelled this off.

Entrance and visibility splay created and gates fitted avoiding water main (so far!)

Hardcore to prepare entrance and give working surface on site

Land drains in and hardcore to working surface

Walls marked for door and window positions ready for the guys with the diamond wire cutting
